We are still under construction!  But we’ve heard people are looking for some info, so here are at least a few nuggets of information about what we’re doing.  We would love to help you!

LAW SCHOOL SUCCESS MENTORS

Bryan and Elizabeth Devolder began law school together in January 2013 and graduated in spring 2016 with honors.  Bryan worked full time while attending law school;  Elizabeth raised their 3 year old daughter, and had their second child, a son, in their 2L year – going to the hospital to be induced right after taking her civil procedure final exam.  They  understand a variety of the pressures that can face law school students, especially non-traditional ones, and they like to help other succeed.

After helping several of their fellow students significantly improve their grades, they began to get more frequent requests for help – both from students who were struggling academically, AND from students who were just overloaded by work and life responsibilities, and needed insight on how to get through a particular class or study for an exam.

They each bring a unique set of skills to the table, and both have experience in coaching and training adult learners, particularly in corporate environments.  By combining their organization, facilitation, and teaching skills with their enthusiasm for learning the law, they have come up with a mentor program that is helping the students who participate – raising their grades, giving them clarity and direction in their studying, and making their studying far more efficient.

If you are interested in participating, please call.  You can join the program at any time during the term.
